Driveways, patios, block-paving, fencing and brickwork from around Canvey Island, plus some of the indoor jobs we have taken on. Every photo here is one of our own jobs.
Before and after
Driveways and gardens
Front driveway. The old drive and lawn came out, and a new drive went down across the whole frontage with a drainage channel along the front.
Back garden. Dug down to bare ground and levelled, then a new grey slab patio laid beside a fresh lawn.

Driveways and block-paving
Block-paved drive. Laid to a curve along the lawn, with a timber edge holding the grass line.
New driveway. Finished right up to the garage doors and the house wall.
Outdoor living
Patios and brickwork
Sandstone patio. Mixed warm tones, laid next to the lawn with a step up to the house.
Garden patio. A large sandstone area with the inspection cover recessed flush.
Re-pointing. Old joints raked out and refilled clean and even.
Patio round a tree. Slabs cut to a clean curve, leaving a bed for the roots.
Same job, wider view. Mixed sandstone laid right up to the new fence line.
Boundaries
Fencing and gates
Front garden fence. Close-board panels on concrete posts, turning the corner round the lawn.
Fence and gate. A matching close-board gate hung between concrete posts.
Side run. Concrete gravel boards keep the timber up off the grass.
Picket fence. Following the curve of the kerb round a corner plot.
Picket gate. Hung level with the fence line either side.
Back yard. New fence and an arched side gate, finished with a gravel floor.
Indoor work
Kitchens and bathrooms
Not our main line of work, but the same care goes in.
Kitchen refit. Dark island with a white worktop and a herringbone floor.
Bathroom. Freestanding bath, vanity unit and a bold feature wall.
